Return to School Parent Survey
Over a month has passed since the start of the 2020-2021 school year. Since that time, we have been monitoring data regarding community spread of the COVID-19 virus in our region (suburban Cook County). We have continuously assessed the ever-changing safety guidelines issued by the CDC and the IDPH. And we have worked to improve our capacity to implement the public health guidelines. The spread of the virus in our region has been stable with a slight downward trend. Therefore, I’m cautiously optimistic that we can return students to school (In-Person Learning) with some adjustments, in November. Please note that these plans are tentative and are subject to change. Community conditions and IDPH guidelines are often updated suddenly with little advance notice, so we need to be prepared to modify our plans at all times. And if we are able to successfully return to In-Person Learning, we are prepared to pivot back to a Full Remote Learning model if conditions in the community and/or region worsen.
As we prepare to return to in-person learning, A.E.R.O. is looking for input from our parents in order to inform our planning. Please take a few minutes to respond to the survey questions. We value your feedback.
